B&B Italia Diesis chaise longue by Antonio Citterio & Paolo Nava
An iconic 'Diesis' chaise longue designed by Antonio Citterio and Paolo Nava for B&B Italia. Originally introduced in 1979, the Diesis collection is considered one of the defining achievements of late twentieth-century Italian design, combining advanced engineering with exceptional comfort and timeless aesthetics.
This chaise longue perfectly embodies the architectural character of the Diesis series. The design is defined by a lightweight die-cast aluminium frame supporting generously proportioned leather cushions, creating a striking visual contrast between technical precision and luxurious softness. The asymmetrical composition, featuring a floating armrest and deep lounging seat, gives the piece a sculptural presence from every angle.
Executed in black leather with perforated leather details and a satin-finished aluminium frame.
A highly versatile piece that functions equally well as a statement lounge chair, reading chair or architectural accent in both contemporary and classic interiors.
Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use consistent with careful ownership. The leather remains supple and well-preserved, showing light patina and a few small cosmetic imperfections.
